The Click Academy

A Spanish-language coaching community for photographers building a business around their camera work.

Who it's for

Photographers who want a clearer business behind their work, from those still learning to shoot in manual to those already covering weddings, portraits and events.

Members come for systems rather than one-off tips: pricing and package documents, an Instagram approach that turns followers into enquiries and a way to cover a wedding day with direction instead of improvising.

The live coaching sessions have been pure energy and growth. Liz and team answered my questions and helped me overcome my fears… Since I joined, my growth has been exponential… this path, with them, is not only exciting, but much easier to travel.

Who built it

Liz Pinto, a professional photographer and mentor from Panama, leads The Click Academy and teaches from her own portrait, event and wedding work. She also hosts The Click Boss, a podcast on building a photography business.

The Lightroom presets shared inside come from her own editing workflow, and the business documents include the contracts, package templates and forms she uses to run her photography business.

Turning photography into a business

Most photographers work for themselves. In the United States, 67% were self-employed in 2025, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, so pricing, contracts and finding clients are usually theirs to handle alone.

Wedding, portrait and event photographers tend to sell packages: a set number of hours and edited images, sometimes an album, agreed in a contract before the shoot. Much of the editing happens in Adobe Lightroom, where a preset saves a group of adjustments so one look can be applied to a whole shoot in a click.

Marketing has moved toward short video since Instagram launched Reels in August 2020. And the academy's beginner course takes its name from bokeh, the photographers' term for the soft, out-of-focus background in a picture, from a Japanese word for blur.

What's inside

Courses covering the craft and the business side: Bokeh: Learn Photography from Scratch (Aprende fotografía desde cero) for camera settings, light and editing, Wedding Ninja for covering a wedding from start to finish under pressure, and Reels Lab (Laboratorio de Reels), a three-day intensive on a repeatable system for making reels.

The Clickers Club is the membership, with new classes each month, live coaching and a community of photographers. Coaching Week runs as a set of live classes on what is holding a photography business back, alongside recorded masterclasses, group coaching recordings, Lightroom presets and a business toolkit. One-to-one mentoring, online or in person, is available as an optional add-on.

Member benefits

  • Live group coaching sessions with recordings
  • Masterclasses on photography technique and business
  • A Lightroom preset pack from the founder's editing workflow
  • Contracts, package templates and forms for a photography business
  • Instagram account and reels reviews

My experience in the community has been very positive. The live classes helped me organize my ideas and see clearly how to take my business where I want it to go… there's always someone ready to help and answer questions.
