Yes, Heartbeat charges a transaction fee based on your plan (Starter 3%, Growth 2%, Business 1%), which is added on top of Stripe’s standard credit card processing fee (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction).

Yes, accounts connected to Stripe are able to accept international payments from customers around the world when your business is set up in a country where Stripe is supported. Businesses using Stripe can accept payments in multiple currencies and from customers in many countries, helping you sell globally. Learn more here.

Yes. If you have an existing Stripe account with active member subscriptions and want to transfer them to a Heartbeat-managed Stripe business, Heartbeat offers a free payment migration service. Currently, payment migrations are supported for Stripe accounts only.

No. You are not charged per community member of any kind.

You can access your invoices and receipts in Heartbeat by going to Settings → Platform → Billing and clicking Manage Billing. This opens your Stripe billing portal, where you can view your subscription details. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see and download all invoices.

If you haven’t upgraded by the end of your free trial, your community will be deactivated. Communities that remain inactive for 30 days are automatically deleted.

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required. During the trial, you can upgrade to a paid plan.

You can choose to pay for your plan on a monthly or annual basis. By selecting annual billing, you’ll receive a 17% discount. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. If you switch billing frequencies, any necessary prorations or refunds will be applied.

Heartbeat offers in-platform video hosting, to ensure your videos are protected.
