School of Podcasting
Launch, grow and monetize your podcast with short, practical courses, live cohorts and a community of podcasters who actually show up.
Who it's for
For anyone who wants to start a podcast and isn't sure where to begin, and for podcasters who want to grow or monetize an existing show. Whether you're launching your first episode or refining an established one, the School of Podcasting meets you where you are.
Who built it
Dave Jackson founded the School of Podcasting in 2005 and has spent two decades teaching creators how to build high-quality, sustainable podcasts. An educator by training, he was inducted into the Academy of Podcasters Hall of Fame in 2018 and is the author of Profit From Your Podcast.
What's inside
The curriculum is built around short, clearly defined courses on specific parts of podcasting: planning, recording, editing, publishing, growth and monetization. Most can be finished in under an hour, so you learn exactly what you need and apply it right away.
For podcasters who want more structure, cohort programs such as Podcasting in Six Weeks combine guided curriculum, live instruction and peer accountability. Alongside the courses, members ask questions, share what's working and learn from podcasters at every stage, with ongoing resources, documentation and live events.
