CincyAI for Humans

AI enthusiasts, working professionals and curious newcomers across Cincinnati and the tri-state region. Regulars work in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services and marketing, and some drive in from Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Northern Kentucky for the monthly meetups.

No technical background is needed. The aim is to demystify artificial intelligence and make sure no one gets left behind.

CincyAI for Humans was founded in October 2023 by AI enthusiasts and community leaders Kendra Ramirez and Helen Todd, who co-host it and champion Responsible AI.

The pair run the monthly meetings and hold monthly office hours for CincyAI Champions. Their vision is to position Cincinnati as a hub for AI innovation and community-driven learning.

Free monthly CincyAI meetings at the University of Cincinnati's Digital Futures building are open to anyone, with RSVPs on Eventbrite. CincyAI Champions is the paid members-only portal that sits alongside them.

Champions join Human Huddle peer groups for beginner, intermediate and advanced users, women in AI, nonprofits and HR, and get monthly virtual office hours with Kendra Ramirez and Helen Todd. The portal also holds the AI for Beginners course, which covers AI fundamentals without the technical jargon, plus a member directory, Champion matchups, an events calendar and a Cincinnati area AI job board.
